Walton Cello Concerto
Brahms Symphony no.2

Ariana Kashefi cello
Robert Max conductor

At the Round Earth's Imagined Corners is the Orchestra's commission from Alex Symcox, our Composition Competition winner - an exciting venture and a celebration!

Walton's wistful Cello Concerto is a work imbued with the warmth and serenity of his Mediterranean island home. Ariana Kashefi, cello soloist, is a Royal College of Music 'Rising Star' and Royal Philharmonic Society Award winner.

Brahms's Second Symphony is one of the most sunny and joyous of his works.
